Rachel set off for her home stay at 7am and Josie and I had a Machu Picchu recovery lie-in. For our last day in Cusco we hit the touristy shops to find jumpers and souvenirs before we left. After about half an hour I had seen too many llama printed cardigans and printed scarves to last me a lifetime and went to an Internet cafe until we had dinner. By 6pm we were snuggled up in our Cruz del Sur reclining seats, on a diverted route to Ica which was apparently to take 20 hours instead of 17.
