Monday 28 May 2012: Manic Monday
I know I said I wasn't going to beat myself up for falling back on kid blips, but this little one has been over used lately. By the end of the week we'll be off on holiday though, with new scenery and plentiful blippertunities, so please bear with me!
Short of time today, as we had Matthew's Personal Tutor appointment. We're proud of him. He had a good report, and just needs to put extra effort in, so that his grades match his abilities. Maths, science, drama and ICT are going very well - languages not so much. An excuse for a summer in France, maybe?!
His tutor was great, a youngish, enthusiastic chap. How shall I put this? I bet the teenage girls listen to him...! Oh dear me, how inappropriate. Seriously though, he has Matthew weighed up. No more coasting along quietly - he'd recruited him for the school football team by the end of the appointment.
