Saturday 26 May 2012: Playing catch up

Been a very busy few days.
As you may remember I was doing a night shift and decided against sleeping much Saturday day as I was due on early on Sunday so I wanted my body clock back to night sleep day awake mode asap. I did doze off for an odd hour though whilst sun bathing lol Got about 3 or 4 hours in total and in hindsight it wasn't a bad thing.
I got a call at 9:45 could I do the night shift as the girl doing it was ill and no one else could! I said I could be there in an hour as I was in my jimmy jams.
When I arrived my employer was all ready for a night on the tiles, she chose one of her dresses for me to wear and at 11:30pm we headed into town.
It's been a few years since I went in a night club. Wearing a very short red dress and huge heels it was interesting pushing the wheelchair in to town (previous shift had taken the van key by mistake!) but we did it and she got her night out :o)

My blip is of the baby blue tit just before he took his first flight, well it was more like a tumble lol All 6 left the nest box one after the other and plopped on the floor. With seagulls, crows and cats around we scooped them up and popped them in the bush where Mum & Dad waited.
Mum & Dad continued to feed but sadly 2 came a cropper one courtesy of a seagull named Steven!!! and the other to a cat :o( The others will no doubt face many obstacles but yesterday we could still hear them being fed and shouting to Mum.

I am sorry I've not been on much to comment and will try and catch up tomorrow afternoon once home again :o)
Take Care All x
