waiting in a corner

steady solid rain all day. 

I stayed in and finished off all the little bits of paint touching up and general snagging in the one finished room which is now clean, empty and waiting for the carpet I thought would come today but didnt.
In the next room the long walled-up connecting doorway into the other part of the house has been opened up again, involving lots of noise, mess and dust.
Have nearly had enough of decorating now.
