cheese and wine..

..and another fantastic vineyard experience at MyattsField.

Today was a tank and barrel tasting. The former a slurp from the current vintage doing its thing in big silver tanks (including some very different flavours from Italian varieties now being grown in the valley) and the latter from oak barrels. Highlight was a very special fortified wine that tastes of Christmas  pudding fruits and has been resting in a sun baked barrels for years.

And then...
...coffee and cheeses and this fantastic wedge of Manchego cheese. A sheep milk cheese from the La Mancha region of Spain...home of Don Quixote.
