Lessons and practice

It is frustrating irritating maddening when one has a creative spark and attemtps to make a beautiful, whimsical, detailed line drawing of an imaginary, age reversal machine for the birthday party invitation of a dear friend who is turning 90 and is an inventor, artist and all around Renaissance man, only to discover that one's drawing ability is that of a ten year old at best. As is one's sparse punctuation, apparently.

I must and will fix the fact that I can't draw what I see in my mind.  Maybe I am just impatient with the fact that detailed, fine lined drawings take time to make.
