Tuesday 29 May 2012: Rabbit Run.
I have a little strip at the back of the garden where I planted some peas this year. I also added some sugar pie pumpkin seeds and those shoots are coming up nicely.
Yesterday evening, I saw a Mummy and small baby rabbit taking a dirt bath in the pumpkin patch. Then they hopped over to the peas and nibbled away. Finally, it must have been time to go home, as I saw Mummy rabbit chasing the baby. I could see it all clearly through my binoculars.
Well, this morning, I have re-named the strip of peas " Rabbit Run" and the bunny family are welcome to make it their own. I have named Mummy rabbit, Daffodil and the baby is Herb.
