All the seasons in one day

Our Midweek Group walk was today and we did a circular eight mile walk from the village of Falkland in Fife, going up by the Tyndall Bruce Statue above the town.  We had all kinds of weather, but a lot of sunshine, and it was exhilarating to be out.  It was particularly nice to be walking with the snow falling on us, and we all enjoyed it.  More photos here

We had an hour in the village after the walk and congregated in pubs and coffee shops.  I had tea and a great tasting chocolate cake.

Home to a quick bowl of home made soup with some bread, a quick change of clothes and off to Strathaven as it was the last night of our country dancing session there, and a party night.  It was great, even though my legs were tired, and the buffet was terrific.  Some of the girls there are from farms around the town and boy can they bake!!!!

I think I will sleep well tonight.
