I'm gonna be a Daddy!

Hi, Honey! April Fool's.

No, I'm not going to be a Daddy. Not exactly. I looked in on the pineapple plant I donated to the greenhouse at York University and Greg, the keeper there, informed me that it is growing a fruit. How cool is that?! I was elated. So, technically, I'm the papa of a prickly little pineapple. It is doing well and loves the greenhouse. The fruit is about the size of a hand grenade or a closed fist. It has a lot of growing to do still since I started rooting it in September of 2012.
