Anstruther, and chips

Another picturesque harbour village in Fife, can't get tired of these. This one has the extra attraction of the best fish and chips in the UK 2008/09! (Green-fronted shop to the top right of this image.) I can confirm they are great, the battered sausages that is (fish are not for me). Also home to an awesome lifeboat, which you would never guess is 20 years old from the as-new condition it's in. These people do an amazing job, unbelieveable that it is a charity. The boats can right themselves when they capsize, and have a 6-inch thick kevlar hull. Why don't they make all boats like that?
