Tuesday 29 May 2012: Turkey Babies are breaking out
Had a super early start due to road closures & Olympic flames.
I gave myself a good hour more than needed as didn't want to be late.
Arrived at work 3/4hr earlier than needed lol
Before leaving at 6am I went and checked on Grommit & the eggs. One had pipped the shell last night and by this morning it was out and drying. It's a Bronze just like mum :o)
I checked the others no shell breaks but cheeping & tapping from inside.
By the time I came home at 2:30pm a couple had broken through the shell and were on their way.
Literally half an hour ago we nipped to look just in time to see this huge Norfolk Black making it's appearance.
Grommit was cooing and chirping at it and then popped it under her.
I am hoping the other 3 will appear over night :o)
I have popped a pic of the fluffy Bronze chick on my blipfolio here >>>

Tomorrow is another 13hr shift I have a feeling I could be busy with 2 quiet days behind us. In some ways I prefer busy :o)
