Palmerston Place Lane

Far from the most exciting blip in the world, but part of a game that I enjoy.

I like to find corners of Edinburgh where I can fill the frame of my viewfinder with things that were (or at least could have been) there fifty or a hundred years ago. Today Palmerston Place Lane caught my eye, and which was drawn in by this unusually long stretch of nearly-horizontal drainpipe. Some of the stonework looks pretty new, but I guess all of it will have looked that new once, so I'm counting it.
