Tuesday 29 May 2012: Painted sky
It wasn't so long ago that many of us were blipping about it being dull, grey and wet. The sudden change to hot, sunny and cloudless weather has rather taken us all by surprise. Well it all changed back again here today. The temperature was half of what it was yesterday and it remained cloudy all day. Have to admit it was quite a relief. The sun finally came out around 6pm and the sky was beautiful.
Have planted up 2 of the planters for church today ready for the Jubilee weekend. Took one down to church today as I had a meeting there this afternoon. Had to be in town earlier though for a massage appointment and then, with a couple of hours to waste, I treated myself to lunch at the local hotel. It was absolutely delicious - chargrilled pork loin with black pudding and crispy bacon on sweet potato chips with a grain mustard and cider sauce foloowed by a dark chocolate mousse with mango. Scrummy.
