Day Seven of Thirty

And on the seventh day he rested.

He wished. A productive day of DIY and bike repairs though. Good to have brakes that work again.

So, whilst tea was cooking I took a trip in to Tesco for some other essentials*. Stopped on the route home along NCN76 to watch the sun set and the midges gather. A few bikes still out in amongst the joggers and dog walkers (though not very social types; no acknowledgement of my nods and cheery 'awright' as they passed. Miserable sods).

Lots of blue flashing lights a mile along the road from here, roads closed and rumours of a couple of RTAs on the road between Tullibody and Stirling. Hopefully nothing too nasty.

*Panniers loaded up with two bottles of 'Joker IPA', two 'Fraoch Heather Ales', a bottle of 'Tempranillo' , a packet of Orkney Cheese Oatcakes and eight 'Milky Bars (they were reduced, go lovely with the red wine so they do). Essentials.
