Up Close And Making It Personal.

When an Irishman is found outside of Ireland in another environment,
he very often becomes a respected man.
James Joyce

The bartender at Paddy's in a moment of non-rage. Keeping the mid-day clientele in line.
Paddy's is the oldest Irish Pub in downtown Portland which surprisingly does not go back at least 100 years, but the building itself does date to 1868.
There are quotes on the ceiling, a countdown clock till the next St. Patrick's Day, over 600 spirits, an annual event that partners with The Childern's Cancer Association and holder of the Guiness Record for the largest Irish Coffee:
100 gallons of coffee
20 gallons Jameson
20 gallons Simple Syrup
20 gallons heavy whipped cream.

So the bar is very Close. (iPhone with the Olloclip fisheye.)
And the Irish related-ancestry pays Personal homage to my friends across the ocean.

A less personal profile of the bartender. http://365project.org/youoregon1/365

Thank you to Hobbs for this edition of Wide Angle Wednesday, Up Close and Personal.
