Dundas House

Another bright sunny day, I had a ticket for a free show at "The Stand" comedy club it was another radio recording for "The Good, The Bad and the Unexpected", I took the bus up to Princes Street to take a few shots before meeting Ann & Baxter at "Spit/Fire" for a couple quick pre-show drinks. It was a really good show (they actually recorded two shows which will be broadcast in the next couple weeks).

Today's picture is of Dundas House it's on the East Side of St Andrew Square it was built as a Mansion in 1711 but then bought by the Royal Bank of Scotland 1825 and is still owned and operated by them today. The statue is of Sir John Hope who was a soldier who served in the battle of Alexandria in 1801 and Spain between 1808 and 1814, he later became a governor of the Royal Bank of Scotland.
