Her Name is Lola

Her name is Lola and she's a beauty. After all the traumas of the week-end with Jess and Holly both being unwell I had lunch with my sister and a friend in Dunfermline. Mrs F brought Lola who has just come to live with her. She's a 16 month old Lab/Retriever cross and was training as a Guide Dog but didn't manage to graduate. Mrs F lost her Lab just a few months ago and Lola is going to bring her a lot of joy.

A update on Jess and Holly:- Jess is now managing to eat - not as much as she was but certainly enough and so it looks as though we'll all manage to get away on holiday on Saturday. Holly seems to have had a flare up of her arthritis and our laminate floor caused her real difficulties - poor soul - but she is much better thank goodness! Honestly these dogs don't half cause you heartache - but they are worth every bit of it. Thanks to everyone for all your concern and sorry for not managing to keep up with the blips through it all!
