Friday 24 October 2008: Oh, happy day!
The first time I blipped Maisie, she elicited a fair amount of sympathy. She can certainly be the Princess of Pathos, but when life is going her way she's the Empress of Exuberance.
It was a beautiful autumn day, and my dogs, my daughter and I spent the afternoon outside playing in the leaves, feeding the birds and drawing chalk pictures on the driveway. (Well, the dogs didn't do the last bit -- they were busy sniffing out chipmunks and eating the birdseed we'd spilled on the ground).
I swear, dogs really do smile.
