Gold.

I went to visit the Queen today. Or rather the Queen's Gallery.

The exhibition 'Gold' cost £7 to get in and was as good as all the other exhibitions I've seen at the Queen's Gallery. Incredible objects presented in minimalist surroundings with plenty of information.

I took a photo of this because it was the one object that I would genuinely have in my own house and live with. Everything else was very impressive, but definitely museum material. This, this had me looking and looking and looking. The artist used black, white, yellow, brown and grey. There is no gold in this picture. None. Sir William Nicholson 1937.
