Wednesday 30 May 2012: another bus full of school children...

Yes, during commuter time one sees many busses that ferry children from outlying areas into Portree to attend the High School there. In the distance you can see the town with some small glimpses of the Loch. There is only the one High School on Skye so most children will attend this one.

Having said this there is a High School in Plockton so some children in the south east of Skye attend that school because for them it is the nearer.

There is also a High School in Mallaig I believe so again some children may attend that school.
