Wednesday 30 May 2012: Topshot
After two and a half month a new topshot. Shot around noon. With three red leafs: maple, hazel and eurasian smoke tree (starting left, clockwise).
Rodgersia (biggest leafs) is flowering and about 1.5 m high. The sunlit green in the middle is papaver (hundreds of plants.) A little bit lower the monarda 'system'. Half april I drew signs to indicate what can be found where in the citygarden. Small herbs and seeded flowers in the pots are not marked. Mainly plants, shrubs and trees that were visible at that time.
Take a look at my other blips tagged topshot. And here's how the garden looked at the end of the winter, when I started a little redesigning.
