Sgurr Coire Choinnichean

Early start this morning to pick up Jean and Mhairi and drive up to Mallaig for the 10:15 to Knoydart (where we met Colin). Always been an desire to get out to this place and after a torrid few days with the lurgy I was just glad to get there. We managed to snag a lift from the pier to the hstle, got settled and then headed of to do Sgurr Coire Choinnichean, the characteristic hill above Inverie. It was very steep, hot as hell but the views were worth it. Five hours up and down and an encounter with the naked rambler (needs a bit of telling that story....). We managed to get of the hill a few yards from the boozer where pints of ice water and lager were very welcome in the baking heat. Felt like shit, but I was in Knoydart.
