A Day Worth Recording

Hot Water, Hot Air - oh, and Helium

Quite quiet today in the house as the actors and examinees have left, leaving just the Worcester marathon guests, however, we had a busy and novel afternoon.

Local 16mm Assoc. member Dave made contact with other local members with a view to getting together this afternoon.  With our garden railway in mothballs it was good to get out and see another's in action and chat over a cuppa (and some nice cake).

After that we went along to a local hustings.  None of us had done this before but as we're new to the area and with the imminent election it seemed a quick way to get a feel for the real people behind the leaflets.

Have to say it was a lot more useful than I anticipated as one candidate definitely stood out for me.

Four guests we were expecting tomorrow, have just arrived.

It's the balloon team back again.  Due to launchable-weather uncertainties it was left loose whether it was tonight or tomorrow.  It seems one critical email fell down a hole in cyberspace.

No problem; just a swifter room change than usual.
