Compost city - courtesy of Mr & Mrs Thomas Snr

Many bags of compost transported from Wiltshire to Ealing...
Two raised beds now enriched with them.
Mum attacked the 40 year old compost heap at my plot while Dad and I dug, spread, sowed etc - a couple of rows of beetroot (Boltardy) and one row of radish (the variety escapes me at present). I also made my first bit of path, complete with wood chippings.

A long way to go, but a big milestone with first sowing done.

The chocolates that next door gave me (as a thank you for gerbil care!) went down well after supper too.
