Knoydart

Woke up after a hot, listless sleep and had already dedcided that yesterday was more than enough given the nick I was in. The other target was a good 12 hour day and there was no way I had it in me. A few of the guys were in a similar boat and after a leisurley breakfast we went for a wander through Knoydat and the shores of Loch Nevis. It was a glorious day and a wonderful walked with gorgeous views and a trio of seals playing for us just offshore. We wandered back to the pub and had a wonderful lunch of mussels and five pints of cold lager lazing on the grass outside the pub. We eventualy wandered back to the hostel to meet up with those that went out and cooked up some wonderful venison fillet we'd bought from the estate. Absolutely gorgeous, great day even if I didn't manage up a hill.
