Wednesday 30 May 2012: Olympic Torch Relay: Ronald Price, Joanne Gregory
got up at silly o'clock to watch the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay in and around Wrexham as it left Wales.
what a great, great morning seeing the community coming together for something happy like this. the smiles on faces was a nice thing to see. quite goosebumpy and emotional.
i did plan on heading to a spot that would give me a view of something famously landmarkish but i bumped into my Uncle as soon as i got there so decided to stay there with him instead. it was a nice moment and one i'll remember, for sure. i did toy with the idea of taking littleA with me but it wasn't really fair to wake her up extra early to wait for an hour with no access to toilets for something she wouldn't even remember. But at least she has the photos now, hey.
