Kai has been staying with his grandma this past week. With five uncles and aunties all ready with lots of fun and attention, he's had a wonderful time and when I picked him up yesterday he was full of tales of his adventures. This morning I woke up before him despite very little sleep and watched him sleeping for a little while, one little foot poked out from under the duvet!
This week I witnessed some people fire walking (walking on hot coals) as a fundraising scheme for a charity. It was fascinating (to watch!!) and admirable as each of the fundraisers chose to experience a few moments of discomfort to raise money and awareness for causes they were passionate about.
In my own life, working to keep the balance between building castles and foundations; keeping hope alive...
Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads.
