the royal visitor

oh the busyness ...
we have fed the chickens,  had water-pistol wars around the garden, squirted the chickens, made mud in the tunnel and transported it with trucks, discovered all the ponds, found tadpoles, made friends with the cat, chased the chickens, asked pertinent questions - how did the baby chick get into the egg? and Daddy, where were you when your Mummy and Daddy were little? and innumerable others; made observations - 'I didnt know cottage people wore pants' (!), made and unmade many lego spaceships, chased the dogs with the water pistol, squirted everything in sight, helped to herd the sheep, been bug hunting with Grandad ... and much much more ...
