A lively pair!!

I spent the day with Alison & Annie, also Max when he returned from school.

We went to RHS Hythe Hall for lunch and a wander round the beautiful gardens. The weather was sunny, although a trifle cooler than yesterday.

Max and Annie were delighted with their presents from Australia (a koala & a kangaroo).  Max, who’s a six year old, was very knowledgeable about Australia, having studied the country last term. I have promised to send him some of our holiday pictures to share with the class.

After putting Annie’s hair in plaits (her Mum doesn’t do it!!), she dressed up in her “princess” dress and tiara for a photograph. She added the red nose and true to form Max had to be in the picture. This is a good one of him, as normally he pulls silly faces and spoils the shot!! Typical little boy!!

I have more pictures taken during the day which I will put in flickr and link them to tomorrow’s blip.

Max is aware of our pending house move and was initially very upset. We have talked about using Skype / FaceTime to keep in touch, also plans to meet up in London during school holidays.

It was a great day for catching up on all the news. I will miss these special people and our meetings and we need to make every effort to keep in touch.
