Bridesmaids again....

Wellington Lions last night lost their 5th National Provincial Championship Final in the last 6 years and their third in a row. We really are 1st rate losers! We played the most entertaining and open rugby in the tournament but once again came up short when it really counted and the red and black machine of Canterbury ground out a 7-6 win in dreadful conditions. Fair play to them - their defence was outstanding if a little dodgy law-wise but that's rugby these days. Oh well, there's always next year.....

Oh, and have managed to back-blip here and here for last weekend when the website appeared to be donald ducked.
