DUTY DONE

Well, I have voted - as for the other duties they'll have to wait.  As I write, the first star has made its first appearance against the exquisite night sky.  According to my Night Sky app it's Betelgeuse, a red supergiant 640 light years from Earth and maybe 30 times the size of our sun.   The day has been sunny and happily noisy with much trampolining and laughter in the neighbouring gardens and our own little gentle buzz about the house, but I like this evening best.  It's less demanding.
