Fabrizio Gianni:Time for Your Close-Up

I wrote a big spiel about fashion photography legend Fabrizio Gianni yesterday and it disappeared.
I am both contributing to and editing the catalogue which supports the forthcoming exhibition of Fabrizio's work at the Park Gallery in Callandar House, Falkirk. It opens on April 30th.
If you are a fan of photography and/or fashion, it is not to be missed.
Fabrizio, who is married to Scots former model turned high-flying lawyer, Gail, was a towering figure in international fashion circles for three decades, from the 1970s to the noughties.
His work pre-dated the digital age, so there's not an awful lot online about him. All that is set to change, I hope.
This exhibition should begin the process of giving him his rightful place in the pantheon of great photographers of the late 20th century. He influenced so many of his peers with his cinematic approach to photography.
