Roses of Richmond

Another run in the dark morning before sunrise.

This week the challenge word is flowers. Not many flowers around as we are heading full speed into winter; my hands finished up cold and tingling this morning after just a 45 minute run.

However, not far along Richmond Road was a square fronted villa with a row of standard roses (S suggests they are Iceberg) on either side of the path from gate to verandah. A great profusion of flowers.

After work, we packed up, and headed north. Slow on the motorway as we wended our way through the after work and holiday weekend traffic. From Albany on, it was a pleasant drive and we are here at the beach house waiting for me to fire up the BBQ.
