Wood Anemones

One of my favourite times of the year.

Our little wood is carpeted with wood anemones. On a sunny day like today it's a real treat to be able to take a break from work to wander amongst the trees and marvel. There will be further treats in store in the next week or two when the wild garlic's scent adds another dimension to the scene.
