Twenty Two

Day twenty two of thirty.

Heavy Goods Vehicle. No smart arsed comments by the way.

A work colleague has set up 2 mile Strava segment around a loop of the River Forth behind our work. Handy for a lunchtime blast on one of these tractors*. Heavy as feck they are, but, then again, riding over the rubble, through the puddles, over the baked mud and dodging the potholes, something sturdy's needed.

Managed King of the Mountain for a whole 24 hours before that time was made to look like I'd cycled around like a septuagenarian vicar. Today's was a much more gentler circuit, taking time to enjoy the sunshine and to watch the wildlife.

There's worse ways to spend a lunch break.

*Next Bike -  there's a hire station at the campus, and at various other spots around Stirling. All hired through a smart phone app, dead easy and dead handy. Even has a handy basket on the front for carrying your beer and kebab in.
