Baby Anhingas

I apologize for the crappy shot. It was too far away, cropped too heavily, harsh light.... But... They are BABY ANHINGAS!!!!! No way I wasn't posting this. I actually cropped out two baby herons nested right beside these little fellows in order to highlight these.

I got this at the Emeralda Marsh Conservation Area in Lake County, Florida. On the far back side, along the Lake Griffin, there is a rookery. Thousands of nesting birds. All forms of herons, egrets, cormorants, anhingas, etc... The only downside is that it is across a little canal and quite a ways from the trail. If I had a boat it might help! I was very excited!!
