IT PROBABLY RAINED ALL NIGHT

and it continued to do so on and off. I had enough to do inside the house and one thing was to re-arrange the bookshelves at the landing. Books tend to sly after some time, not to mention to gather dust if neglected.
As if that was not yet enough I cleared all roaming objects to a place where they could rest in peace.
In the afternoon Mischa and I walked downhill for a bit of shopping, seeing the swans and feed the one on the nest. It was the male and he ate as if famished.
On our way back I saw the cat!

My haiku:

The shining iris
Of the cat met mine for
One moment only

And the proverb:

Books are the blessed chloroform of the mind.
