Self-selected Tadpool

We knew that there was still a frog in the pond.

What we hadn't realised is that another had taken residence in a plastic garden tub, which had been used as a receptacle for weeds and then become filled with rainwater.

This may sound like a perfect place to stay, except there is no escape when the water level drops, as it did when I used it to water the flowerpots. The tub is now tipped to one side to allow the frog to depart, should it so wish.

In any case, the heatwave is over; the temperature has dropped as the mist has rolled up the Forth and reached our elevated levels.
