Olde Extinguisher

Today was day one of the strip out of my son no 1's new house.

Alice and I managed to strip the wallpaper (four layers) from two whole rooms we're made up as it was very hot with the steam stripper going all day.

We uncovered an old cast iron fire place, oddly painted pink !! and this fire extinguisher, it said carbon tetra chloride on the side and I sort of hope that the horse shoe wasn't an Omen !!

I'm back at work tomorrow but will be putting in a couple of hours decorating, or rather destruction at the house.
