Katy Dove, Exalt, 5 Tangos

A friend and I popped along to GoMA at lunchtime to see an exhibition by Katy Dove. It's beautiful. 

GoMA launches a season of moving image works, opening with four works by the artist Katy Dove, as part its Ripples on the Pond project. Dove’s work will be installed in Gallery 4, and features Sooner(2007), Luna (2004), Motorhead (2002) and Stop It (2006). Dove’s aesthetic essentialism, distills the everyday into shapes, sounds and colours. The exhibition will open Thursday April 16, 5.30 – 7.30pm. All welcome.


Spent the evening eating tapas then went to The Tramway to see a ballet double bill - Exalt & 5 Tangos.
