Surviving the summer

Want a guaranteed way to really annoy an academic at this time of year? Just say something along the lines of "You must be really looking forward to your long summer holiday now that the university vacation has begun..."

As if! Just because the undergraduates are away doesn't mean that the work stops. In fact for some of us it's the busiest time of the year. As illustration, here's my valiant attempt to plan out just two of the projects that I am leading over the summer.

By the way, I know that my blips have been dreadful over the past few days, but they are about to get a lot more interesting. Watch this space!
