Friday 1 June 2012: DUCK!
Yes I know it's a peacock - but when it flew directly towards me whilst I was driving I slammed on the brakes and DUCKED! It then proceeded to strut along the road like it owned it and as if northing had happened.... I quickly put on my hazard warning lights and flew out myself with camera and flicking it on at the same time - I thinks its the quickest I've done that action!! lol
He posed for quite a few photos - although I got some really clear ones close up and personal - this one was the best one to show Mr Peacock in his full glory. (a must in LARGE)
Would you believe I had spent almost two hours at Hardwick Park and I also prepared a very arty holly shot - I changed my mind last minute as I can shoot a Holly tree anytime - but not a flying peacock when it's playing chicken on the road!
Well it's almost close of play on Friday and we have four days off work, but I will be using this time wisely and completing a majority of my uni projects.
