When Roger was putting out the recycling bin tonight, he found this little fellow by our car. It's a shared driveway, rather than a road, so fortunately he wasn't in much danger. He kindly stayed put for a while, allowing me to get a picture, but the next time Roger went out, he'd soon disappeared.
