Roses . . . . .

. . . . . here today and gone tomorrow, giving such pleasure on the way. This rose is growing against an upright that holds up the deck - hope it survives the deck's reconstruction! It's so hardy that I think it probably will if I prune it all the way back. Any suggestions?
