Saturday 2 June 2012: Zzzzzz
It's all a bit too much for Clauds today. After helping Mummy make a pizza (I got to try out the 'dough' setting on my breadmaker and it made for some wonderfully elastic dough!) and whinging about how she "feels so much ill" (can't say I blame her), she clapped out on the sofa, clutching Puppy Woof and the iPad.
Amy is upstairs for her second nap of the day (which never happens) and the husband is watching the footie. I will cook said pizza in a bit and then we are heading out, just the two of us, for a bit of a date night. Well, it's more a trial run for our new babysitter as we have a function coming up and want to try her out first, but the upside of that is we get to go to the cinema!!
It will be strange without the kids but a nice break as "husband and wife" instead of "Mummy and Daddy"...
