May Day is a Bank Holiday here which means that many of the shops are closed - I don't imagine many will be shut on Monday in the UK. Of course some businesses thrive while others aren't open and the Hofbrauehaus was doing brisk trade as we wandered around this morning. And then to the hotel for bags and out to the airport so that the guys could get checked in for their flights home. The beer garden was open, for the first time this year, so we enjoyed a couple of Helle and a smashing meal. There was also a band and Schuhplattler dancing. This shot is a candid of someone enjoying a beer and magazine.

After all the excitement of yesterday and a couple of lunchtime pints I had a small snoozle on the S bahn back to town and I'm thinking another now might be in order before a last look at Munich and heading home in the morning.
