climbing, reaching

very intense storms this morning, followed by a few hours at BRIT (quiet this morning), and then off to dfw airport for the third day in a row, this time to pick up megan who will be in town this coming week. she is staying with me for a couple days and then i go off on vacation so she heads to plano to visit her mother.

after that, work, work, work. late shift again.

somehow, though, the late shift ended up ending quite early and before i knew it, megan and i were joined at the bull & bush by brian and leah. this is the first time they had all met and it was great to see good friends all gathered together. not long afterward, michael joined us and the evening quickly devolved into gin shots in our kitchen and me eating cinnamon dog treats.

you can tell we are all almost on a break, right? michael's last day of school tomorrow, brian goes back to school on tuesday, leah has a mere week left, and i go on vacation saturday. and thus a thursday becomes more like a saturday night. epic as always.
