Saturday 2 June 2012: Is this your trough?!
Mel had left her horse, Monica, in a field to eat grass for an hour whilst we walked and swam the dogs.
Cocoa and Maera have a bad habit of jumping into any trough full of water they find. This time it was as under a horses mouth! This magnificent beast is called Gunner.
No harm done. The horse accepted Cocoa's apology and continued to drink at one end of the trough whilst the dogs swam on the other. This was a tender moment when the horse and dog became very aware of each others presence.
Cold day again and the heating is back on this evening. Worse still, the forecast is for frost on Monday morning! May be a cold Jubilee party!!
