Saturday 2 June 2012: Jubilee cake

I made this cake for the cake table at my daughter's choir concert today, along with pear & ginger muffins, rocky road and chocolate tiffin. They all disappeared very quickly and the compliments were very kind. If you fancy trying it yourself, it's the flag tray bake from the BBC good food magazine/website.
