Saturday 2 June 2012: Keep calm and put your jubilee boots on
I was struggling to find a jubilee blip today. It certainly isn't a photographer's dream day weather-wise. I tried a few bunting shots, but the light was just too awful.
Happily, while in Durham I wandered past Scorpio - the best shoe shop in the north. I love this shop. As their strapline goes - 'no sh?t, just shoes'. They are particularly good for Doc Martens - I have a silver pair from here! They always have a great window display, and a row of bright coloured Docs across the top. That is until this weekend!
